First Symptoms of HIV InfectionThe word HIV represents Humane Immuno Deficiency Virus. It is a virus that lives in CD4 cells. It develops gradually and reproduces itself. The immune system is consisted of CD4 cells. These cells are known as soldier cells. The chief function of these cells is to defend body from the assault of the infections and diseases. HIV not only hides itself in the CD4 cells but replicates itself in order to damage the immune system. The process takes several years for damaging the immune system. CD4 cells do not recognize the existence of the virus as it hides in the cells. On the other hand it harms slowly to these cells. The replication process of the virus goes on continuously till it takes the hold of immune system completely. The virus develops step by step. The development of the virus can be divided into four stages that are known as stages of HIV infection. As an individual crosses these stages he/she reaches to the last step that is AIDS. During these stages a person can experience the symptoms of HIV infection. First Symptoms of HIV Infection occurs in the primary stage of HIV infection. At some point of time these symptoms disappear and this period is called asymptomatic, it means without any symptoms or symptom free. However, the virus continuously replicates itself. It keeps the immune system destroying. It affects the CD4 cells' count. The CD4 cells' count comes down. As a result of this immune system gets collapsed and opportunistic infections attack on it.
